SAP System Engineer (Customer Solutions)- Germany- Permanent
I am currently supporting a premium provider of infrastructure solutions and managed services on their search for an SAP System Engineer (Customer Solutions) to join their teams across Germany on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
* You ensure the smooth operation of complex SAP landscapes including databases and optimize existing processes
* You are the primary technical contact for several major customers and are responsible for the further development of customer relationships
* You will provide 3rd-level support in incident and problem management for SAP Basis and database topics
* You will independently analyse and resolve complex technical problems and coordinate necessary measures with internal and external partners
* You document processes, optimize procedures, support the continuous development of the SAP basic environment and participate in on-call duty
Experience required:
* You have in-depth knowledge of supporting SAP ABAP and Java system landscapes as well as the UNIX (AIX/Linux) operating system landscape
* You have extensive experience with various database systems (Oracle, IBM UDB, SAP ASE, SAP HANA) and ITIL processes
* You impress with excellent customer orientation, analytical skills and a structured, solution-oriented approach
* You are resilient, have strong communication skills and work independently and in a team-oriented manner
* Strong communication skills in both German and English.
* You have a degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification and have solid practical experience in SAP Basis administration, ideally in the IT hosting environment
