You will work closely with other departments to streamline processes, improve inventory control, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the warehouse team to achieve productivity and performance targets.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including receiving, storing, and distributing products, ensuring stock levels are maintained and accurate.Order Fulfilment: Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of orders, ensuring they are completed accurately and on time.Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety standards and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company guidelines.Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize warehouse operations and efficiency.Reporting: Prepare and analyse reports related to warehouse performance, inventory levels, and order fulfilment metrics.Training & Development: Provide training and support to new and existing warehouse staff, ensuring they understand all procedures and safety protocols.QualificationsProven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role within a warehouse or distribution centre.Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Speedy operates an industry leading Work Life Balance initiative, demonstrating our commitment to reducing core contracted hours, supporting colleague wellbeing, and identifying more balanced work patterns for our colleagues which is a huge step in realising our ambition of putting our People First.
