Local Land Charges Manager – South West London (Hybrid)

A Local Authority in South West London is seeking an experienced Local Land Charges Information Manager for an interim contract within their Planning Department.
The Role
As the Local Land Charges Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic management, supervision, and administration of the Better Services Partnership Local Land Charges (LLC) Service. Reporting to the Information and Planning Obligations Team Manager, you will ensure compliance with key legislation while leading and developing a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of the Local Land Charges (LLC) Service.
Ensure statutory compliance with the Local Land Charges Act 1975, Commons Registration Act 1965 & 2006, and related regulations.
Lead, support, and train a small team to ensure efficiency in LLC processes.
Maintain turnaround times for Local Land Charge Searches.
Provide expert advice and innovation in managing LLC statutory obligations.
About You:
Proven experience in Local Land Charges management.
Strong understanding of LLC-related legislation & regulations.
Team management experience in a Local Authority setting.
Ability to implement best practices and improve LLC service delivery.
