Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a FTSE 100 organisation that contributes to international defence to recruit a Mechanical Process Design Manager on a 12-month contract, on a remote basis with rare visits to its Plymouth site.
The Mechanical Process Design Manager role comes with an hourly rate between �70 - �87 an hour.
Key skills required for the Mechanical Process Design Manager role
* Experience of designing a mechanical service or process systems.
* Experience of working in a highly regulated industry, strong preference to nuclear.
* Understanding of hydraulic or pressure calculations.
* Understanding of hazard identification and analysis associated with process systems (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP etc)
* BEng/BSc in mechanical engineering or similar degree.
* Line management experience of 3+ direct reports.

* An hourly rate between �70 and �87 per hour
* Inside IR35
* Remote working with occasional site visits (1 in 6 weeks)
* 12 month contract
