Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with one of the largest wind turbine manufacturers to recruit a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the installation and finishing phases of wind farm sites across the UK.

Responsibilities and duties
As the Mechanical Supervisor, you will:
* Ensure health and safety regulations are followed during wind turbine installation.
* Oversee subcontractors to ensure quality and technical standards are met.
* Train and support team members and subcontractors on-site.
* Conduct mechanical quality checks and inspections.
* Review and maintain accurate installation reports and documentation.
* Manage tools and equipment, ensuring they meet safety standards.
* Report defects, missing parts, or issues to the site manager and assist with corrective actions
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* A degree-level qualification with proven experience in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of CDM site regulations.
* Experience in wind turbine installation, including working with cranes.
* The ideal candidate would have a CSCS and/or Irish Safe Pass.

The Mechanical Supervisor role would suit someone who is:

* Willing to travel regularly across the UK and internationally when needed.

Salary and benefits of the Mechanical Supervisor role
* Salary up to �45,000 depending on experience.
* 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays.
* 4-week work rotation (3 weeks on-site, 1 week off-site).
