Job Title: Band 5/6 Midwife Location: Yeovil Duration: Ongoing Flexible & Ad-Hoc Shifts Schedule: Early Shift: 07:30 AM - 2:00 PM Late Shift: 2:00 PM - 8:15 PM Start Date: Immediate Start Available End Date: Ongoing Rate of Pay: �25-�30 per hour (via Umbrella) Contact: Shamil at 02080572722 or email sdani@hg-mh.com
What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Band 6 Midwife and play a vital role in providing expert care to expectant mothers and newborns. Your responsibilities will include:
? Providing antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to mothers and babies ? Supporting women throughout labour and assisting with deliveries ? Administering medications and pain relief as needed ? Monitoring fetal and maternal well-being and responding to emergencies ? Educating and advising expectant parents on pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care ? Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care ? Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation in line with clinical guidelines
Requirements & Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you'll need:
? A current and valid NMC registration (Band 6 Midwife) ? Previous experience in midwifery (hospital or community-based) ? An enhanced DBS check and updated immunisations ? Strong communication and interpersonal skills ? The ability to work independently and within a team
