To carry out duties in line with organisational policies and procedures.A day in this role looks like….As a Support Worker at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Mental Health Accommodation Service. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:To clearly articulate the aims and objectives, pathway and service model to people using the service so they can fully participate in and co-produce support plans.Empower service users to engage effectively in their liaisons with professionals within the community such as mental health team,
social work team, housing providers, health professionals, JCP etc.Work flexibly as part of a team to ensure service coverage and that contractual obligations are met.Develop co-produced group activities, peer support networks and other community-based approaches to empowering service users to achieve their goals and aspirations and to encourage service users to access these opportunities.Actively monitor the health, well-being, safety and security of the service and its users, ensuring all concerns are followed up promptly and in line with procedures.Ensure that administration is done in good time, that detailed, concise and accurate records are created contemporaneously, and that confidentiality is appropriately maintained.Assist the manager in managing health and safety, as well as repairs and maintenance of the premises, including the garden. To collect rent and service charges and manage arrears proactively by following policy, protocol and procedure to residents to maintain their tenancy and develop independent living skills by paying service charges & rent.Provides manager to manage voids across the service.Ensure referrals, assessments and service reviews are effective and timely.Empower service users to develop independent living skills as part of a planned move-on process.Arrange or refer service users for education, training and employment activities Assist the manager in planning, negotiating and managing budgets and making best use of property, equipment and information technology.Empower a caseload of clients to manage their health and wellbeing, maintain their independence, identify their strengths and achieve their goals and aspirations, working in partnership with our subcontractors as required to achieve this under the direction of the Team Leader.Why Hestia?Joining Hestia means more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be part of
