Astute’s Power team is exclusively partnering with Encyclis to recruit an Engineering Manager for an initial 12 month for to cover across its portfolio of Energy from Waste plants.
The Engineering Manager comes with a rate of �700 per day.
Key skills
* Manages the engineering and technical processes related to the development, construction and operational assets within Europe and particularly within the UK.
* Lead and deliver the timely and compliant works streams to facilitate the successful construction and operational phases of the project including; EPC Tender process, drafting and revision control of all EPC Documents, obtainment of and compliance with planning permission and environmental permit, validating site related issues compliance, financial model and grid connection works as well as other utilities.
* Principle point of contact to EPC Contractor and wider sponsor group during the pre-financial close phase.
* Oversee the interface and relationships with key stakeholders in development projects including internal client, regulatory bodies, local authorities, utility companies and local community liaison panels.
Ensuring the planned execution model is aligned with the EPC Contract and the technical specification meets the needs of the ongoing operations and maintenance teams.
* Regularly updates to the senior management as to the performance of the development project.
* Lead the technical support of construction projects to ensure the works are delivered in line with the Specification and liaising with O&M to find appropriate and acceptable solutions for safe and long term operability of the asset. Coordinate input with Morristown as appropriate in this regard.
* Lead the technical support for operational assets to ensure optimal operating modes are utilised as well as providing technical input to potential operational upgrades/ performance improvements and defect/problem resolution.
* A combination of commercial and technical knowledge is required as well as a good understanding of construction related legislation (including CDM Regulations) is required along with well-developed communication skills.
