Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
3-Month Contract Minimum (Ongoing Work) Location: Stockport Rate: �32.00-34.00 p/h DOE (Limited Co. / Umbrella)
We are partnering with a leading company specializing in project management, installations, and site maintenance, with a strong presence in the food processing and manufacturing sector. They are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer) to support general maintenance work and ensure operational efficiency across various production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Planned & Reactive Maintenance - Carry out inspections, servicing, and breakdown repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, including mixers, conveyors, and packaging machinery. ?? Fault Diagnosis & Repairs - Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults to minimize downtime. Equipment Optimization - Assist in equipment adjustments and improvements to enhance overall performance and efficiency. Electrical Support - Basic electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting (if competent), supporting the wider engineering team.
Candidate Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 Apprentice Trained Experience in a food production or FMCG environment electrical competency (e.g., fault finding) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
