As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in our International Coordination Department. You will be responsible for managing transhipment cargo, coordinating space with feeder operators, and conducting market research for short sea feeder networks. Your analytical skills will shine as you prepare cargo volume budgets, simulate vessel charter rates, and address invoicing and settlement issues. Additionally, you will be engaged in general administrative duties that will enhance the overall efficiency of our operations.
Hours of Work: Full-time position with flexibility to support work-life balance.
Basic Requirements:
* Candidates must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom, visa holders are welcomed provided that the visa is valid for at least one year.
* Unless stated, experience in shipping is not a requirement as on-the-job training will be provided
* Any previous experience or interest in the shipping industry will be an advantage
* Familiar with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Honest, responsible, punctual and able to work on your own initiative as well as to be a great team worker
