A temporary opportunity is available for a Control Support Assistant based at Cardiff for a period of up to14 months, subject to review.The teams in Control are focused on ensuring the network is secure, contingencies are in place and lost supplies are restored as quickly as possible, minimising customer minutes lost and customer interruptions.Based within our two Operational Centres, our Control Centres are the heartbeat of our operations, monitoring the system in real time, minimising risk of danger and managing security and faults. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with all of our internal customers and be able to maintain excellent standards of work. To meet national security vetting requirements you will normally need to have been resident in the UK for at least 5 years for Security Clearance (SC) prior to the date of application.
