We\'re currently recruiting an ambitious Chef de Partie to help us create exceptional food experiences for CH&CO on a full time basis contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving the kind of food that truly brightens our clients\' and customers\' days, all within the market-leading food service company in the UK. You\'ll get given every opportunity to progress within a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards and recognises employees who go beyond the plate.Location: EH3 9PERate of Pay: £12.60 per hourShift Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 7:00-14:30Your key responsibilities will include: Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customersPrepare and cook dishes to the highest standard, ensuring consistency and quality for 60-80 covers during lunch service over 2 hoursEnsure the kitchen is clean and organised by adhering to strict health and safety standards, including regular cleaning tasks throughout the shiftWork alongside the Head Chef, Supervisor, General Assistant, and Baristas, contributing to smooth kitchen operations, supporting the team, and ensuring a high level of service during busy periodsSupporting with the creation of new menus and creative food conceptsMonitoring stock to keep our kitchens well-stockedOverseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standardsComplying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulationsOur ideal Chef will:Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer serviceHold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalentHave experience supervising a teamHave experience in a similar Chef roleHold a Food Hygiene certificateHave a flexible approach to workingWorking with us has its perks!
