As the Business Development Manager (Perishables), you will take charge of account managing both new and existing perishable goods customers, driving growth in our exciting and dynamic cargo sector. Your role will involve building fruitful partnerships across the supply chain, whilst ensuring world-class quality standards in food security, safety, quality, and sustainability. You will collaborate with our operational teams to deliver impactful commercial projects at one of the UK's busiest ports, taking responsibility for significant revenue streams alongside profit and loss accountability.
Hours of Work: Full-time position with flexibility.
Business Development Manager (Perishables) Requirements:
* Proven track record as a competent Business Development Manager.
* Extensive experience within the perishable industry or related sectors (e.g., shipping, logistics, supply chain).
* Strong expertise in business development with demonstrable success.
* Project Management qualification (ideally Prince 2 or MS Project) and knowledge of developing detailed commercial proposals from scratch.
* Willingness to travel internationally, with a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
