As a Funeral Arranger, you will be responsible for arranging funerals in accordance with our clients' wishes while adhering to company policies. Your role involves offering transparent advice about our services, clearly explaining options, costs, and payment terms. You will collaborate with team members to deliver exemplary service, manage administrative tasks efficiently, and ensure that all financial transactions are handled appropriately. You will also provide support during chapel visits and collaborate with local organisations, as well as participate in bereavement support activities.
Hours of Work: Standard hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Funeral Arranger Requirements:
* The ability to work well in a team and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Initiative to appropriately share the workload to ensure smooth arrangements.
* Approachable and polite client interactions, maintaining a smart appearance.
* Excellent communication skills and a pleasant telephone manner.
* Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite.
Funeral Arranger Benefits:
* Salary starting at �12.21 per hour, equating to a full-time equivalent of �25,397 from 1st April 2025.
