What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a CAMHS Practitioner and make a significant impact in the lives of children and young people facing mental health challenges. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments for children and young people. - Developing and implementing personalised care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. - Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support emotional well-being and recovery. - Offering crisis intervention and risk management strategies to ensure the safety of young people. - Liaising with families, schools, social workers, and other professionals to deliver holistic care. - Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with NHS standards and guidelines. - Offering guidance and psychoeducation to families and caregivers.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need: - A current and valid NMC registration (or relevant professional body registration). - Previous experience in CAMHS or working with children and adolescents in mental health settings. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. - A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
