Project Manager - Health and Safety
Temporary (6 months), Full Time
We are urgently seeking a Project Manager (Health and Safety) to address key actions identified in a Health & Safety Review. This is a critical role that requires both Health & Safety expertise and strong project management skills to ensure the implementation of robust project governance and timely execution of necessary actions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with an in-house Health & Safety Advisor to drive H&S initiatives to completion.
Implement effective project governance and ensure deadlines are met according to set timescales.
Oversee the delivery of Health & Safety actions, ensuring compliance with legal standards and best practices.
Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress and clear communication.
Key Requirements:
Proven background in Health & Safety management.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to govern and drive projects to completion.
Ability to work collaboratively and guide the activity to meet desired timescales.
Experience within local government is preferred but not essential.
