An opportunity has arisen for two Performance Analysts based in Bristol.As Performance Analyst you will play a crucial role in analysing and evaluating the performance of key areas of the organisation, including Field Operations, Asset Management, Connections and Customer Excellence. You will partner stakeholders in these areas, providing them with high quality reports, analysis and insights, and recommendations to support decision making in the organisation's performance management process.  Your expertise in data analysis and reporting will contribute to strategic decision-making and help the organisation achieve its performance goals.As part of our hybrid working approach and in line with our policy, this role allows you to apply for a mix of office and home working. Produce and communicate performance updates, insights, and recommendations through clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualisations. Design, produce, and distribute comprehensive performance reports. Develop and implement dashboards and data visualisation tools to enhance report accessibility and understanding. Key Performance Indicator Development: Identify, define, and track key performance indicators that measure progress towards the goals outlined in the performance contract. Develop tracking mechanisms, set targets, and regularly assess performance against benchmarks. Provide insights and recommendations for adjustments as needed.Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at various levels to understand their performance-related needs and challenges. Provide guidance, address concerns, and offer solutions to improve performance outcomes.Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that KPIs and performance initiatives align with the company's overall strategy. Regularly assess whether performance metrics contribute to the achievement of broader business objectives.Continuous Improvement: Lead efforts to enhance the performance management process. Identify gaps, propose improvements, and implement streamlined procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy in performance reporting and analysis.The Ideal CandidateYou will be required to show proven experience in performance management, data analysis, and strategic planning as well as a strong analytical mind-set with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets.You will need to show exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to summarise complex data and excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to also build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.A Strong ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work is essential and you will need to have an expert knowledge of PowerBI or other BI tools such as Quicksight as well as have experience in delivering data related output and activity in an agile and dynamic manner.Interviews will be due to take place week commencing the 7 April 2025.National Grid Electricity Distribution is committed to safeguarding the interests of the Company, colleagues and customers.
