Find your future!Sodexo is seeking a Technical Facilities Manager in Fife to join our team.We are looking for an experienced, ambitious and dynamic individual to contribute to the smooth operation at our prestigious site.You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way!What you’ll do:To be the main Sodexo site contact for all Technical PPMs & Reactive WorksTo be the hands on first point of contact engineer on siteTo escort and liaise with Sodexo contractors attending the site for any worksEnvironmental, Health & Safety compliance in all activities To be the main technical contact and hands on engineer for the siteFirst line responder to any site M&E work orders Carry out minor adaptations to the environment, i.e., putting up shelves, notice boards, soap dispensers, etc Minor touch up decoration and refurbishment Minor plumbing works (unblock sinks, toilets and drains, repair leaks, fit new tap washers, replace ballcocks)Building fabric repairs, i.e. tiling, ceiling tiles, flooring etcAdjust doors, tighten hinges, change or fit locks and door closures Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvements on siteCoordinating with external contractors and internal teams for repair and maintenance worksAssist other service lines (front of house/ security/ cleaning/ catering) where requiredBe proactive to identify and report faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolveAny other duties as required EssentialExperience of PPM and reactive worksAbility to manage own workload as well as operating within a teamGood computer skills (MS Office, PDA’s etc) Driving License and own transport required Physically fit as lifting may be involved & must be able to work in restricted and at heightA good knowledge of health and safetyAbility to handle tools correctly and safelyMust be able to work some flexible hours to suit the needs of a busy siteDesirablePASMA/IPAF trainedAsbestos awarenessL8 / Potable Water awareness Recognised apprenticeship or NVQ What we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
