Our business teams are our customers, and we have them at the forefront of everything we do. We work closely across a number of portfolios, programmes, value streams and change teams, providing transparent data to leaders across the organisation. Our core role is to align projects, programmes and initiatives with the overall strategic objective of the business. Diverse and inclusive colleague networks available for you to join including our Carers and Pride Alliance groups.We care about your health and wellbeing – we provide a range of benefits that support this including cycle to work initiative and discounted gym membership.What Will You Be Doing?Providing trusted insight, guidance, oversight, and support to ensure the successful delivery of value adding changeUndertake cost/benefit analysis to justify changes and make recommendations Conduct reviews of the health of the portfolio, in accordance with the approved change framework and associated assurance processes, to improve portfolio performance  Presenting information, analysis, insight, and recommendations to senior leadersEnsuring maintenance and accuracy of PPM tools  Operating with agility while fostering a fail-fast culture of innovation and professionalism where there is clear ownership and accountabilityEnsuring adherence to agreed principles, guardrails, and governanceFostering excellent relationships with team members, relevant partners, suppliers, and internal / external stakeholdersWhat Do We Need From You?You’ll have experience working within a VMO or PMOExperience of both agile and more traditional delivery mechanisms (e.g., waterfall)A strong understanding of planning principles and critical path analysis Knowledge of agile techniques, project management, programme management, portfolio management and investment practices Experience of pra
ctical application of Lean Portfolio Management techniques and best practiceExperience of using Planview or a similar PPM tool Possess strong decision making and prioritisation skills; have experience overseeing and managing complex problemsCustomer and colleague centricProven ability to establish rapport, credibility, and influence others to drive results across a matrixed organisation
