To also assist in the smooth running of the kitchen with direction from more senior members of the kitchen team making sure you provide outstanding food experiences. To participate in daily menu briefs to all catering assistants.Always provide an excellent service at all timesEnsure the effective control of a specific station within the kitchenTo carry out the directions of more senior members of the kitchen brigade, ensuring that you coordinate the efforts of more junior members.Ensure food is prepared to required standards checking for taste, presentation and qualityEnsure the kitchen and service areas are clean, tidy and attractive during serviceTo make sure that you meet all legal and company requirements for fire, health, safety and hygieneDo Not interfere with or misuse anything provided for HSE purposesEnsure all food preparation is carried out in accordance with food hygiene proceduresEngage in fresh thinking and initiative with the teamKey skills requiredMinimum of 3 years as a Chef de PartieDemonstrates Compass values and Client attributes.Understands and has knowledge of industry trends and direction; ability to learn and effectively utilise Client training.Strong communicator that can confidently speak with all levels within the business, where necessary utilising reasoning skills.Restaurant Associates provides brilliant hospitality through our food, drink and services.
