We are looking for a female care worker to support a vibrant individual in Aspatria with complex care needs, who is passionate about crafting, baking, keeping up with the latest trends and staying active in her community.In this rewarding position, you’ll play an essential role in enhancing her quality of life by providing both practical care and emotional support. But it’s not just about care – it’s about having fun, being creative, and socialising!Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a supportive personality who can help with daily living tasks while encouraging her independence. Previous experience in care is helpful but not required; a love for people and a desire to make a difference is key!What will your shift involve?In this role, you will be providing high-quality care on a 1:1 basis, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs.Your responsibilities will include assisting with maintaining a safe airway, including tracheostomy care and management, ensuring proper ventilation and comfort and PEG feeding.Additionally, you will support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organised living environment that fosters comfort and independence.Clear and confident communication in their preferred manner will be essential to building a strong and trusting relationship.This isn’t just a care job – it’s an opportunity to help someone live their best, most fulfilled life while engaging in fun activities that make every day exciting.
