Experience in Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.• Proven experience in graphic design and digital marketing, preferably in an education or not-for-profit setting.• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design tools.• Experience creating digital design for websites and email marketing campaigns.• Knowledge of website content management systems (WordPress or similar) and basic HTML skills.• Strong understanding of branding, typography, and layout principles.• Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a creative, proactive mindset.Desirable Skills• Knowledge of SEO and PPC advertising.• Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp.• An interest in or experience with the education sector.General• Undertaking general administrative and IT tasks in other departmental areas if required to ensure the smooth running of the school, which may include undertaking routine and exceptional duties as required.• Attending and taking part in all relevant meetings with colleagues as required.• Participating in the school’s system of professional review.• Participating in aspects of staff development as relevant to the role and the department, including attending appropriate training on in-service days.• Becoming familiar with and implementing school policies; to be responsible for a safe, healthy environment.• Helping to create and promote an image of the school which is in accordance with its aims.About the school/organisationAs Edinburgh’s only all-through independent school for girls aged 3-18, St George's is a place of possibilities: where everyone is clearly heard; pupils feel empowered to be themselves; and innovation is constantly encouraged.
