Responsibilities:
As a Community Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to patients in a community setting. Your tasks will include:
Conducting patient assessments
Administering injections, wound care, and end-of-life care (including syringe drivers)
Performing leg ulcer assessments using Doppler machines
Carrying out bladder and bowel assessments
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintaining accurate patient records
Key Skills Required:
IM/IV injections and syringe driver medication administration
Wound care and leg ulcer management
Central line care and catheterization
Experience with lone working and triage
Qualifications:
To be considered, you'll need:
A valid NMC registration and pin
Previous community nursing experience
Experience in injections, wound care, end-of-life care, leg ulcer assessments, and bladder/bowel assessments
A valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to high-quality patient care
Working Hours:
4-5 shifts per week, 0730-1830, working across a 7-day service in Droitwich.
