Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will:
• Carry out electrical maintenance across all areas of the plant.
• Conduct fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical equipment.
• Perform visual inspections and ensure machinery operates efficiently.
• Work with the maintenance system to complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Assist with incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs and inventory.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
• Time-served Electrician qualification with relevant industrial experience.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Knowledge of single and three-phase motors.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems.
Personal skills
The Electrician role would suit someone who:
• Has strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
• Communicates effectively with colleagues and contractors.
