What You'll Be Doing
Join our team as a Clinical Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients across medical and surgical wards. In this role, you will:
- Perform comprehensive medication reviews and optimise prescriptions. - Counselling patients on their high-risk drugs, including anticoagulation, immunosuppressive therapy, and more. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Monitor patient progress and assist with safe and efficient discharges. - Provide support and feedback to junior doctors and trainees.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current and valid GPhC registration . - Experience working within hospital pharmacy (ideally across both medical and surgical wards ). - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. - A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a flexible working position, requiring availability from Monday to Friday , 9 AM to 5 PM. The contract is for an ongoing period with the possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
