Shirley Parsons is partnering with a leading construction company, offering an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Advisor to join their team. If you're passionate about environmental management and want to make a real impact on high-profile projects, this role is for you. The position will be based in the Southern England region, supporting projects across the area.

As an Environmental Advisor, you'll play a critical role in delivering the company's Sustainability Framework and maintaining environmental compliance. You will support both live projects and the pre-construction team, contributing to tenders and identifying best practice innovations. Key Responsibilities:
* ISO 14001 Compliance: Ensure environmental best practices are implemented through regular inspections, audits, and driving continuous improvement.
* On-Site Accountability: Take a lead role in environmental checks, audits, and site assessments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Pre-Construction Support: Provide environmental input during pre-construction, supporting bids to ensure environmental mitigation and sustainability innovations are incorporated.
* Data & Reporting: Manage environmental performance records and ensure accurate reporting across all projects.
* Collaboration: Work closely with project teams and clients to promote sustainability and reduce environmental risks, ensuring compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience: Proven experience in environmental management, ideally within the construction or related sectors. Experience with ISO 14001 and EMS implementation is highly valued.
* Proactive & Results-Driven: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage challenges head-on while delivering tangible environmental benefits.
* Strong Communicator: Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels, clearly advising on environmental strategy and best practice.
* Flexibility: Willingness to travel regularly to project sites across the Southern region.
