A Day in the Life of a Dispensary-based Pharmacy Technician : Join our team as a Dispensary-based Pharmacy Technician and support the hospital's pharmacy department in delivering exceptional patient care. Your core responsibilities include:
- Dispensing prescribed medication accurately and efficiently. - Preparing medications for patient use, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. - Providing advice and support to patients regarding their medications. - Managing stock control, ensuring adequate supply and correct storage of medications. - Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to provide safe and effective medication management. - Maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
Requirements & Qualifications : - Current and valid GPhC registration. - Proven experience working in a hospital dispensary setting. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medication. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team. - Knowledge of current pharmaceutical practices and regulations. - Ability to adapt to different working hours as required.
Working Hours & Contract Duration : Monday to Friday with various shift patterns. The contract begins in March 2025, with the possibility of an extension based on performance and hospital needs.
