What we are offeringUp to £27,500, depending on experiencePermanent and full-time position40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.Site-based role at HMP Addiewell.Please see attached benefits guide for everything we have to offer_____________________________________Your Role as a Maintenance OperativeAs a Maintenance Operative, you will support the Facilities Management team in maintaining the operational efficiency of HMP Addiewell. Your role will involve both planned and reactive maintenance work, ensuring all repairs, installations, and maintenance activities meet industry standards, environmental regulations, and health and safety requirements.You will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and allied trades, assisting with a variety of maintenance tasks across the prison estate. Record-keeping will be a key aspect of your role, as you will be responsible for maintaining accurate logs of completed maintenance and repairs. Your role will also require you to ensure compliance with Sodexo’s policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and professional working environment.You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the prison, including responding to urgent maintenance issues, escorting specialist contractors, and participating in an on-call rota.
