**Skills Required**
● Experience of teaching English to KS3
● Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in all MS Office applications.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to organise and teach groups of pupils at all levels of ability
● Ability to improve pupil attainment
● Ability to engage and enthuse pupils in their relevant subject
● Cross phase KS2/KS3 experience
● Specific qualifications or skills relating to one or more areas of the broader activity programme such as sports coaching qualifications or outdoor leadership qualifications.
● Experience of providing outdoor learning opportunities
● Conscientious and diligent, with excellent attention to detail.
● Enthusiastic, diplomatic and calm under pressure.
● A proven track record of strong working relationships with pupils and colleagues.
● A positive and proactive attitude to manage a high volume of work.

**Qualifications Required**
● Good first degree
● Postgraduate Certificate in Education or equivalent in primary education or English
● Meets requirements to register with the GTCS
