Location: North London
Rate: £450 per day (Umbrella)
A North London local authority is seeking an Interim Estate Surveyor to manage its property portfolio effectively—maximizing value, reducing costs, enhancing long-term potential, and driving both financial and social benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and execute value-add opportunities and asset management initiatives.
Deliver commercial arrangements (leases, acquisitions, disposals) aligned with council objectives.
Lead on asset management, providing strategic advice and guiding surveyors within the team.
Procure and manage external consultants, including agents, planners, surveyors, and solicitors.
Navigate public policy, develop land strategies, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Manage disposal tenders, conduct financial appraisals, and oversee contract negotiations.
About You:
A property professional with experience in the public or private sector (property, infrastructure, or housing).
Proven ability to work in a professional property team, balancing priorities and driving innovation.
Strong knowledge of legal negotiations, contracts, and asset management strategies.
