We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Contract Administrator at P05 Building, Merville Barracks, Circular Road South, Colchester to support our Senior Leadership Team and ensure smooth execution of payroll procedures. If you are someone who thrives in an administrative role, enjoys solving problems, and can handle sensitive information with discretion, we want to hear from you.What you’ll do:Ensure that all payroll procedures are executed accurately and within required timelines. Process new starters, leavers, and contractual changes efficiently.Maintain the payroll system (Kronos), ensuring accurate and timely entries for payroll variations, amendments, and leave accruals.Conduct monthly payroll reconciliations for Sodexo frontline employees and generate reports, including Gross Pay and time data reports for budget holders and managers.Address employee queries related to payroll, annual leave, and accruals, and work to resolve any discrepancies.Provide administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team, including meeting preparation, minute-taking, hospitality, and adherence to company policies and procedures.Handle payroll and personnel data with the utmost discretion, ensuring compliance with company policy and GDPR regulations.Continue to develop professional skills through training and on-the-job learning opportunities.Take on any additional tasks as required by the line manager to ensure smooth operation within the team.What you bring:Able to work on own initiative within a team environment.Must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication.Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards.Able to demonstrate working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).Maths and English – Level 4 or above or the equivalent.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the rolePrevious experience in payroll administration, or a similar administrative roleKnowledge of GDPR and other compliance standards in handling employee informationWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
