Service Manager
Location: Staffordshire
Salary: �60,000-�70,000 base salary + 40-50% bonus
The Company
We are currently partnering with a leading global provider of critical power solutions, serving a wide range of customers from large commercial enterprises to the defence industry.
This organisation has been operating for over 40 years and are now worth �50million, offering services covering everything from design and manufacturing through to rental and maintenance.
Following the acquisition of the business in 2023, the rental operations division alone has seen almost 200% growth and are set to grow by a further �2million in 2025.
As a result, they are looking to recruit a Service Manager with immediate effect.
The Role
The role of Service Manager will involve overseeing and driving the growth of their rental operations division. This is a key role for a dynamic and results-driven professional with a passion for leading teams and optimizing service delivery in a fast-paced environment. As the Service Manager you will:
* Manage and develop a team of nearly 30 professionals responsible for the rental side of the business, ensuring high levels of performance, motivation, and service excellence.
* Take ownership of the day-to-day operations, ensuring all projects for rental equipment are properly planned, and all maintenance schedules are prepared to meet customer demands.
* Ensure customer satisfaction across all rental services, from SLA setting and enforcing all contractual agreements, through to ensuring all RAMs for customer sites are completed.
* Review and reporting of the division financial performance vs P&L
* Identifying training and development needs for the team to increase performance
* Goal management of the team and individuals to achieve key performance markers.
* Recruitment and retention of key roles within the service team.
The Candidate
To be successful in your application for this Service Manager role you will need:
* Proven experience in an electro-mechanical service/maintenance management role.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, set targets, and implement strategies to drive revenue and performance
* To be a strong decision maker who can make decisions in a fast paced working evnironment
* Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards common goals, as well as the confidence to challenge and drive improvements.
