Complex Care AssistantPay rate: £14.50 - £15.00 per hourShift Pattern: Monday to Sunday. Day Shifts 8am-8pm and Waking nights 8pm-8am.We have an amazing opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their adjusted home in Plymouth who suffers from Moto Neurone Disease and has a Tracheostomy. They also require support with a cough assist machine, BiPap and oral suctioning. They have lots of interests and hobbies including going out for food, going to soft play with their children, going to the cinema and spending time out in the community. To make the most of trips out, we need people who are local to Plymouth and hold a full UK Driving License.You will need to bring an empathetic and upbeat approach to truly make a difference to this person's live and continue to support with their rehabilitation. You will also need to bring experience in the following:Moto Neurone DiseaseComplex Care including Cough Assist and BiPap.Strong communication skillsWhat will your shift involve?In this position, you will be providing high-quality care on a 1:1 basis, making sure that the individual you are supporting received attentive care that is tailored to their specific needs. Your responsibilities will include supporting them with all aspects of day to day living including supporting whilst in the community, visiting local amenities including parks, soft play centres and café’s.
