We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as Retail Marketing Manager. The role will be a part of the LFC Retail marketing team whose purpose is to drive awareness, interest, desire, conversion, and retention across various LFC Retail sales channels, products and services in the UK and across the globe.The Marketing Manager will support the Director, Retail Marketing in owning the multi-channel retail customer journey and the planning and execution of the LFC Retail marketing strategy. You will be leading a team across the full marketing mix you will ensure we deliver category leading campaigns to our global supporter and customer base across owned and third party digital and physical channels.What will you be doing?Work with the Director, Retail Marketing on developing and implementing the LFC Retail marketing strategy, trading calendar and relevant customer journeys.Use data and insight to build key activity into marketing plans and briefs and assist your team and agencies on a successful execution of those plans across all marketing and sales channels.Ensure completed campaigns are measured and reported against agreed objectives and KPIs with insights, learnings and recommendations included as standard.Identify and build relationships with Liverpool FC colleagues to ensure LFC Retail products and campaigns are placed in relevant positions and energy moments across the Clubs digital and physical estate.Ensure LFC Retail is employing best in class marketing partners who are delivering in line with agreed strategies and KPIs.Oversee multiple media and marketing budgets to ensure the best return for the Club across the full marketing mix.Support the department and team in delivering activation events throughout the season of various sizes.Share previews of relevant campaigns and content to internal and external stakeholders to ensure they can plan successful support of the campaigns and their objectives.Be the go-to marketing contact for the eCommerce team. Forging strong links with various stakeholders in the team to ensure an optimised customer journey across eCommerce and App.Partner with the Senior Manager, Retail Creative Marketing and their team to ensure content being created is optimised for our marketing channels and their relevant audiences.Work alongside the senior LFC Retail Marketing team and other Club stakeholders to identify new marketing channels, partners, KOLs and opportunities to invest.Manage, motivate, and develop a small team of three marketing coordinators.Who are we looking for?To be successful in this role, you will significant, recent experience in a similar position with a focus on paid search, social, email, display and the over ecommerce customer journey. You will have experience in within in retail across either sports, fashion or lifestyle and have successful agency management. As well as this, you will have experience in a people management position and leading/ managing a team. It is important you can forecast and manage relevant marketing budgets whilst delivering agreed KPIs. Understand how to successfully use a variety of different creatives and copy across different marketing channels. You will have proven ability to research, compile and project manage and achieve success through cross functional working within a team, across a wider business and/or agencies.You will be confident in gathering and presenting performance insights to key stakeholders and extremely proficient using google analytics. You will have strong organisational, time management and planning skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.Experience in delivering campaigns to a diverse and global audience and working with international departments/ stakeholders is desirable. Along with an understanding of organic social media channels and their relevant products and audiences. Why should you apply?This is a full-time permanent role working35hours per week.
