We are now seeking an Maintenance Officer to join our team i2020, Belfast. Join our team to oversee the safe operation, installation, maintenance, and repair of M&E services, building fabric, and specialist equipment. Coordinate both direct and subcontracted labour to deliver Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance, as well as Micro Projects across a diverse building portfolio. Ensure accurate and timely reporting in line with client specifications.

 What you’ll do:


Working within a team of circa 6 Maintenance Officers covering specific regions and specialisms
Oversee safe operation, installation, maintenance, and repair of M&E services, building fabric, and equipment
Coordinate direct and subcontracted labour for Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and Micro Project
Ensure accurate, timely reporting in line with client specifications
Respond promptly to emergencies and issues on the client’s estate
Coordinate internal/external stakeholders for services: Reactive & Planned, Preventative Maintenance, Remedial works and Small Projects
Manage Health and Safety tasks and provide technical support
Schedule and coordinate real estate services per statutory requirements
Maintain accurate asset data across the estate


What you bring:

 

Preferable:


HND or equivalent in a relevant subject
Experience with Construction Design Management Regulations (CDM)


​Essential:


5+ years in a similar role
Level 4 qualification (e.g., NVQ, HNC, professional diplomas)
Driving license
Proven track record in managing complex estate maintenance and micro works
Experience with PPM specifications, statutory compliance, and contractual requirements
Experience managing multiple contractors
CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant/Assessor, LEED/BREEAM assessor
Knowledge of sustainability/environmental ISO/BS standards
Experience with financial business cases (MACC, OPEX, CAPEX, NPV)
Experience in Facilities Management or Government Services sector
Experience with CAFM/CMMS systems
