Dean Close School are looking to appoint a new Non-Residential Matron to support our House parents in one of our Boarding Houses. This is a part time role, working 22 hours per week and is during term time.Our Matrons play a vital role within our boarding houses and are the first point of contact for our pupils who need assistance. You will be fully involved in the running and management of the house alongside our House Master or Mistress. Other roles and responsibilities include: Ensure that pupils are dealing properly with their own domestic organisation Providing administration support for the house. General pastoral and personal welfare of the boarders in the house. Support house pupils with first aid and escorting pupils to medical appointments.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a real passion for supporting children and young people in a boarding environment.
