About the Role :
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for children aged 0-5 years. You will work closely with a supportive team to foster children's social, emotional, and physical development, ensuring they receive the best start in life.
Key Responsibilities:
* The preparation and completion of activities to suit each individual child's stage of development and interests
* To develop your role within the team especially as a key person
* To keep up-to-date observations and planning records for children
* To ensure that meal times are a time of pleasant social sharing
* Washing and changing children as required
* Ensuring a poorly child is kept calm and warm and management is notified immediately for the child to be collected.
* To develop and maintain strong positive partnerships and communications with parents/carers to facilitate day-to-day caring and early learning needs
* To provide detailed verbal feedback to parents about their child's day
* To ensure parents are aware of any situations that have arisen during the day, which may involve their child
* To ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children regardless of any disabilities, family backgrounds or medical history
* To supervise and assist all children with routines and activities
What We're Looking For:
* Level 2/3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
* Strong Safeguarding Knowledge
* Knowledge of First Aid is desirable
