What we are offeringSalary of £29,992.67Permanent and full-time position37.5 hours per week, Monday to FridaySite-based role at HMP Peterborough.Please see attached benefits guide for everything we have to offer_____________________________________________Your Role as a Waste Management and Recycling TutorAs a Waste Management and Recycling Tutor at HMP Peterborough, you will play a vital role in equipping learners with practical skills and qualifications to improve their employability and support their rehabilitation. Delivering engaging lessons to diverse groups of prisoners, you’ll help learners develop their knowledge of waste management and recycling up to Level 2.You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating course materials, ensuring each learner has an individual learning plan (ILP) to guide their progress. By fostering a self-directed learning approach, you will empower prisoners to develop critical thinking, decision-making skills, and self-esteem. Beyond the classroom, you will collaborate with colleagues and employers to secure meaningful employment opportunities for prisoners in the cleaning and waste management sectors upon release.This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in reducing reoffending rates by supporting prisoners’ reintegration into society.
