adi Fire and Security Project Manager
Location - We are ideally seeking a candidate based in the Midlands who is willing to travel to client sites as needed.
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will coordinate the installation of fire alarm and security systems, ensuring standards are met while enhancing profit margins on small to medium-sized projects.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring adherence to health and safety policies.
* Managing daily site activities and leading meetings.
* Assisting in obtaining technical accreditations and project infrastructure development.
* Overseeing on-site engineering activities and preparing technical designs for quotations.
* Developing and maintaining client relationships.
* Running projects effectively and ensuring completion meets customer requirements.
* Compiling documentation to NSI and BAFE standards.
* Managing schedules using software (Uptick) and ordering necessary equipment.
* Producing progress reports and detailed work schedules.
* Planning and managing resources, while ensuring high work standards.
* Collaborating with the Operations Director to grow the Fire & Security Divisions.
* Supporting day-to-day operations and expanding customer relationships.
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
* Previous experience working as a project/contracts manager or a senior technical role.
* Extensive experience working within the Fire and Security industry.
* Previous experience balancing multiple projects.
* SSTS / SMSTS / IOSH or other H&S qualification beneficial.
