Are you ready to take on a pivotal leadership role at the forefront of digital transformation? We're seeking a dynamic Senior Programme Manager to report directly to our Transformation Director. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead a multi-year initiative that is critical to our business and enhances customer experience across the board.

Position Overview: As our Senior Programme Manager, you will be the linchpin in the successful planning and execution of a mission-critical digital transformation programme. You’ll ensure effective governance, drive programme delivery, and align with our strategic objectives, all while overseeing a seamless transition to ongoing service delivery. This initiative is essential for our move to SAP S/4 HANA, featuring complex interdependencies that require your expertise to navigate.
Main ResponsibilitiesRole Responsibility:

In this role you'll:

Mobilise the Programme:


Develop comprehensive business cases, outlining benefits, dependencies, timelines, resources, and costs.
Formulate detailed plans for projects within the programme, securing approval from our Steering Committee and Sponsors.
Align the programme with Tarmac’s broader business objectives and other key initiatives.
Engage senior stakeholders to ensure their full support for capital investments.


Govern the Programme:


Lead the successful delivery of the programme on behalf of stakeholders and the Tarmac Executive team.
Ensure that project scope is delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
Proactively manage risks and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Oversee programme financial management, providing updates to key committees.


Execute the Programme:


Lead a multi-functional project team to deliver a unified Order & Dispatch system across all product lines.
Ensure appropriate resourcing and management of delivery partners to meet project goals.
Resolve issues promptly to keep the programme on track.


Embed the Programme:


Drive employee engagement and training to ensure smooth implementation and minimal disruption.
Work with Product Owners and support teams to ensure seamless transition into business operations.
Establish mechanisms to measure and monitor the realisation of programme benefits.

Essential Skills:


Proven leadership in managing large, diverse teams in fast-paced environments.
To be a strategic thinker with the ability to connect daily execution with long-term goals.
Expertise in managing large-scale change initiatives and agile project management.
Developed budgeting and financial analysis skills.
Proactive risk management approach focused on continuous improvement.


Desirable Skills:


The ability to build partnerships and influence key stakeholders across the organisation.


Experience and Education:


Essential: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, IT, or related field.
Preferred: Master’s degree in business administration, project management, or related discipline; certifications in agile methodologies.
Experience: Proven track record in leading large-scale digital transformation programmes, specifically with SAP ERP projects and logistics technology initiatives.
