An exciting opportunity has arisen for CDM Advisor / Principal Designer to join a well-established safety equipment provider. This role offers excellent benefits, hybrid working options and a salary range of £40,000 - £45,000.
As a CDM Advisor / Principal Designer, Yyu will support our construction clients on various projects, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and legislation. The candidate should ideally be based in the Northwest, as they will required to attend the office once a week, particularly during initial training.
You will be responsible for:
- Manage a range of small and large-scale projects.
- Conduct annual reviews of clients Health & Safety policies and management systems.
- Prepare and maintain Pre-Construction Information (PCI) and health and safety documentation.
- Develop Construction Phase Plans (CPP) for clients, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Work closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to uphold project safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations.
- Perform site inspections and audits, offering continuous health and safety support to contractors and sub-contractors.
- Oversee statutory compliance for major property-owning clients across the UK and Northern Ireland.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Health and Safety Advisor, CDM Advisor, Principal Designer or in a similar role.
- Experience in construction related health and safety consultancy.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
- IOSH Chartered Membership or progression towards it.
- Knowledge of the CDM Regs 2015.
- Ability to write PCI's CPP's and RAMS.
- In-depth knowledge of contractor support and health and safety requirements.
- Valid UK driving licence.
