An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 2 / Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join anursery committed to providing a nurturing environment for children. This is a full-time role offering excellent benefits and a salary range of £25,000 - £28,000 for 32 - 40 hours work week.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will plan and deliver engaging learning opportunities, ensuring the individual needs of the children are met in a safe, stimulating environment.
You will be responsible for:
- Create a safe and engaging environment for children, both indoors and outdoors.
- Assess childrens progress and development, ensuring the needs of each child are met.
- Safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children in line with company policies and procedures.
- Incorporate British Values in learning activities and play.
- Support childrens emotional and behavioural development, encouraging positive self-regulation.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and professionals to maintain an inclusive approach.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Educator, Nursery Assistant or in a similar role.
- Ideally have experience working in the Early Years sector.
- Level 2 / Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage would be preferred.
