We are seeking two organised and conscientious Cleaning Supervisors, to join our large established clients in Stevenage. You will be responsible for managing a team of between six and ten housekeeping operatives and oversee the administration of general cleaning services, as well as a small Lab Support team.This role will be Monday to Friday between 06:00am – 14:30pm, 37.5 hours per week.Due to the requirement to travel to other sites, a full UK driving licence is required.For full details please see the job description.What you’ll do:You will be responsible for ensuring that the team(s) maintain Sodexo’s commitment to a zero-harm mindset, proactively undertaking checks for Safety, safety investigations and fact finding, safety walks and uploading this data into Salus (safety management system).Challenge any unsafe acts or behaviours through correct channel: drive Zero Harm & 3 Checks for Safety values.Ensure all general housekeeping and laboratory cleaning meets the specifications and standards set by the client, as directed by the SOPs.Ensure the general and lab services team always operates in a professional manner, portraying a positive working culture and work ethic.To manage team HR related tasks; sickness / recruitment / leavers, training which includes Sodexo’s GREAT Training, e-learning and MyLearning requirements.Stock control.Stakeholder Management.Staff training and performance reviews.HR Process – including conduct and absence management.Resource planning / Holiday cover.What we’re looking for:Leadership & People Management experience is essential.Strong knowledge of COSHH and awareness of laboratory health & safety procedures.Knowledge of the management of HR policies and processes.Excellent interpersonal skills.Effective communication skillsExperience within customer services or a customer facing environment.Computer literacy (live meetings and teams)Comfortable chairing and facilitating meetingsPackage DescriptionWorking with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
