**Site Services Engineer**
Location : Wrexham
Rate: Up to �30p/h
Shifts : 4 on 4 off - Days
Company Overview
Our client is a leading producer in the food manufacturing industry, delivering up to 2 million units per week to major UK supermarkets.
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration plants, compressed air systems, chilled water systems, steam systems, and effluent treatment plants.
* Ensure compliance with Legionella control and other health and safety regulations.
* Conduct planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and respond promptly to reactive breakdowns.
* Record and report operational data to support performance optimization.
* Collaborate with the team to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support team development through training and mentorship.
Candidate Profile
* Qualifications : NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent. Time-served candidates with relevant experience in food manufacturing or industrial environments are encouraged to apply.
Skills and Experience :
* Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
* Knowledge of compressed air systems, water treatment plants, and industrial refrigeration (ammonia experience preferred).
* BOAS certification is desirable but not essential.
