National Health and Safety Manager
Location: London (Hybrid working with some national travel)
Salary: �60,808 plus location allowance per year
We are proud to partner with a highly respected charitable organization seeking an experienced National Health and Safety Manager. This key leadership role focuses on developing and implementing effective strategies and operational priorities to ensure the highest standards of health and safety across the organization.
You will work closely with volunteers and charity members, providing expert guidance and support while fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing a team of Health and Safety professionals.
- Develop, oversee, and implement health and safety strategies, policies, and processes.
- Conducting and overseeing investigations to ensure compliance and resolve issues.
- Establish and maintain a network of volunteer health and safety representatives.
- Delivering operational risk management and audits effectively.
The Health and Safety Manager will:
- Hold a NEBOSH Diploma(or be working towards a NEBOSH Diploma).
- Demonstrated experience managing health and safety across multiple sites, including using and adapting generic risk assessments.
- Proven track record in implementing and maintaining Health and Safety Management Systems.
- Strong expertise in developing and delivering health and safety strategies, policies, and best practices.
