We are currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic HRIS Payroll Project Lead  to join our IT team on a fixed term contract basis, based in Solihull, West Midlands. Flexible/Hybrid working available. 

The role is part of a team who will be responsible for the implementation of SuccessFactors within the organisation. This role will work closely with our selected integration partner as part of the Tarmac project team. As an experienced SuccessFactors functional consultant or a Senior Payroll Manager who has experience of implementing SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP), you'll utilise your problem-solving skills to support successful project delivery.

The role will be pivotal in identifying and addressing any issues with implementation whilst maintaining a commitment to delivering a high-quality solution. The Payroll Lead will have a passion for creating a first class payroll solution with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Main ResponsibilitiesIn this role you'll:


Be responsible for ensuring payroll processes comply with local, national, and industry-specific tax laws, labour regulations, and reporting requirement
Have responsibility for managing the SuccessFactors Payroll workstream
Collaborate with the wider Tarmac Implementation Teams and our delivery partner, ensuring a seamless move to SuccessFactors
Define, document and optimise the payroll processes, ensuring alignment with the organisation's payroll policies and compliance requirements.
Requirements Gathering and Validation:
Collaborate with the wider HR and finance teams to capture payroll-related requirements, such as tax calculations, benefits deductions etc ensuring they are accurately configured.
Lead the user acceptance testing (UAT) and para runs for payroll functions, verifying accurate payroll runs; including salary calculations, tax deductions, and benefits processing
Carry out data migration and cutover activities
Support integrations and interfaces - Ensuring seamless integration between the HRIS and external systems related to payroll (e.g., time tracking, benefits, finance) to enable accurate payroll processing.
Develop and refine business processes
Identify and implement improvement opportunities to exceed growth targets
Provide coaching and feedback to team members
Maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Ensure a smooth handover of fully implemented payrolls to the Operations team.

The Ideal CandidateTo be successful in this role you'll need:


Extensive functional experience of deploying end-to-end SuccessFactors Payroll solutions
Experience of Implementing UK SAP payrolls with precision and timeliness
In-depth expertise in SAP payroll delivery lifecycles, including hands-on experience of design, testing to go live
A knowledge of UK-specific payroll laws and regulations
An understanding of Time & Attendance
An understanding of integrating and interfaces into HR solutions within complex IT environments across multiple HR systems and platforms
To be able to demonstrate thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in both functional and technical experience in SuccessFactors solution
Developed collaboration skills, ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
A drive to succeed in challenging situations
To be flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances
To be data driven
To be curious with the ability to identify system and process improvements and deliver the required changes to implement them successfully. 
Proven project management skills,
The ability to work well under pressure and adheres to deadlines
The ability to identify potential issues and address these in a timely manner
The ability to identify opportunities to streamline processes within the organisational processes
