Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Customer Engineering Manager, you will:
* Develop and improve maintenance plans and tasks to ensure maximum plant availability.
* Liaise with field service engineers and site personnel to understand and optimise maintenance requirements.
* Analyse boiler performance data, diagnose issues, and provide technical solutions for performance improvement.
* Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures to enhance operational reliability.
* Maintain and enhance the Pirana system for industrial heat and installed assets at customer sites.
* Provide guidance and support to the sales team regarding technical queries for new and existing projects.
* Assist with technical reporting, including system performance and compliance reporting.
* Proactively comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring the upkeep of certifications and compliance standards.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent qualifications with relevant experience).
* Proven experience in a maintenance or reliability role, preferably in a relevant industry such as biomass or industrial heat systems.
* Experience in troubleshooting and providing customer support, particularly in a field service context.
* Strong technical skills with the ability to analyse performance data and implement practical solutions.
* A full UK driving licence, with the flexibility to travel across the UK and stay away from home as needed.
