As a Cleaning Manager, you will ensure all work is presented to the highest standards in a clean, tidy, safe and pleasant environment. You will work with the onsite team and other leaders across our business to enhance the customer experience by effectively managing the cleaning team over a 24/7 basis, equipment, resources and third-party suppliers ensuring the cleaning/FM operation is in accordance with the client service level agreement and company standards & procedures.Key Responsibilities:To promote a safety culture and ensure the cleaning team are aware of and operate in accordance with company and client Health & Safety procedures at all times.To manage the cleaning labour, equipment & resources budget for the contract in line with company targetsTo ensure the cleaning operation continually improves in all areas of the operation – Quality, Cost, Delivery & SafetyTo ensure the cleaning team are engaged and managed effectively to achieve their performance targets.To order supplies inline with budget for daily/ weekly/ monthly use.To ensure the right number of people are supervised and trained to the right skill level are in place to achieve the required cleaning service, conduct regular 1-2-1s, and lead from the front. To ensure the delivery and quality of the cleaning operation is in accordance with the client service level agreement and company procedures.To manage any third-party suppliers or contractors as required ensuring they meet or exceed the agreed service level agreements e.g. equipment maintenanceTo work flexibly and attend off site meetings and training courses as required.Liaison with the client EH&S and Facilities team for all Fire Evacuations, drills, signage, H&S compliance, audits, investigations etc.Fully responsible for soft services Compass/EHS documentation.Completion of all training, Investigations etc. assigned on time.Monitor and manage monthly & annual budget and client spend.Continuously monitor the performance and delivery of our contractors seeking best value for money for outsourced activities.Monitor labour per hour against budgetDrive innovation and service improvement.Constantly identifying and creating ways to improve efficiency.Challenge the team to analyze the root cause of problems, troubleshoot and find the right solutionsAbout You:Min 5 years’ experience in contract cleaning, facility management or soft servicesMin 5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Cleanroom environment or regulated industry would be an advantage.Minimum 5 years in a management post.Waste management and pest control experience would be advantageous.Customer focused with strong attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Computer Literate.At Compass Ireland, our people are our business.
