About the role:
Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a specialist in water tech and technology services. They are recruiting for a Service Engineer who ideally has experience working within the Water industry or from a hands-on operations and maintenance role.
The strategically important Service Engineer role comes with a salary of up to �35,000, company vehicle & fuel card, with overtime and commission available.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Field Service Manager you will:
* Performing on-site corrective and preventive maintenance for water treatment equipment.
* Provide technical and commercial support.
* Providing after-sales technical and commercial support.
* Completing risk assessments, work reports, and other necessary documentation.
* Participating in the on-call rota
* Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers.
* Follow and enforce health and safety policies for both the company and clients.
* Complete and submit risk assessments, work reports, timesheets, and other documents on time.
* Complete site tasks and activities promptly.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* NVQ or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or similar)
* Full UK driving licence.
Personal skills
The Service Engineer role would suit someone who has:
* Experience working in water treatment industry (is advantageous but not essential)
* Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical market (desirable)
* Good communication skills, punctual, presentable, and eager to learn and develop.
* Knowledge of company products, applications, and markets is desirable.
* Excellent time management skills.
Salary and benefits of the Service Engineer role:
* Salary between �30,000 - �35,000 per annum depending on experience
