Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Prison Cleared Pharmacy Technician to join a Prison pharmacy team in Kent. This is a locum position offering a minimum 6-month contract with a Monday to Friday schedule (9am-5pm). The successful candidate will have experience in the role and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care within a prison setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide pharmacy support within the prison environment.
* Dispense medications and provide advice to patients as per prescribed treatments.
* Assist in managing pharmacy operations and ensuring proper medication storage and handling.
* Work alongside other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and procedures.
* Accuracy check prescriptions and medications to ensure they are dispensed correctly
Essential Requirements:
* Must be prison cleared.
* Qualified and registered as a Pharmacy Technician.
* Proven experience in an ACT role (desirable).
* Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and teamworking skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Additional Information:
* This is a long-term contract with the opportunity to extend.
* �23-30 per hour, depending on experience.
* Immediate start date for January/February 2025.
